What does a Velvet Hippo Associate actually do?
Velvet Hippo Associates act as independent introducers. You introduce prospective clients to Velvet Hippo, and we take care of the enquiry, travel arrangements, bookings, payments and client servicing.

What am I not responsible for as an Associate?
Associates do not make or confirm bookings, collect client monies or have authority to bind Velvet Hippo or its booking providers.

Do I need travel experience?
No. Velvet Hippo handles the travel and booking process.

What happens after I make an introduction?
We take over the enquiry, manage the travel arrangements and client servicing, and keep you informed as the opportunity progresses.

How do I earn?
Through an agreed commission on qualifying business generated through your introductions.

When do I get paid?
Commission becomes payable once the qualifying business has completed and Velvet Hippo has received the corresponding revenue.

Can I do this alongside my existing work?
Yes. The Associate programme is designed to be flexible.

Is there a fee to become an Associate?
No. There is no joining fee to become a Velvet Hippo Associate.
